I was born in Verona, Italy—a lovely city not too far from the Italian Alps and Lake Garda. I lived there until the summer of 2022, when I moved to Rome for my master’s degree.

When I am not reading economics, I enjoy books on history (especially Soviet and early Russian history) and philosophy, particularly ethics and the philosophy of language. I also enjoy traveling and hiking.

I follow Formula 1 (Forza Ferrari!) and collect pens. I am currently learning nib grinding—the process of shaping a fountain pen nib’s tip to produce different writing styles.
